The Seafood Bar
Overlooking Roundstone harbour, this simple old-fashioned bar has been run by the O'Dowds family for four generations dating back to the turn of the 19th century.
The atomosphere
It is a relaxing place where you can enjoy a pint and a bite from the reasonably priced bar menu which includes a good range of fresh local seafood; chowder (the speciality), Mannin bay Oysters, Crab claws in garlic, stuffed Mussels, Smoked haddock & Cod pie to name but a few - not to mention the regular daily specials. Throughout the premises cleanliness and attention to detail is clear with a friendly, efficient and courteous staff.
The mood in this traditional tavern is warm and inviting, enjoyed by both tourists and locals alike. Odowds is an excellent place to relax and enjoy fine food, good conversation and a great pint. A must for the discerning traditional pub-goer.
Opening Hours
The bar is open from 10.30am to 11.30pm (12.30pm Fri/Sat). Closed only on Good Friday and Christmas day. Bar food is served from 12-9.30pm every day (9pm during winter).
